We all enjoyed a lovely evening on the 11th June, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of Rainham Flower Club. We were delighted to be joined by several special guests, including past chairmen of the club, and also by the President and Chairman of the Kent Area of NAFAS.

The hall looked wonderful, decorated with orchids on each table, and we had a very tasty meal. We then enjoyed listening to local singer Peter Kneebone, who had stepped in at very short notice, for which we are very grateful. His music was so good, that a few of us could not resist a little dancing…

Unfortunately, our current chairman was ill, and unable to be present, which was hard, considering all the work which she had put into making the evening a success! Many thanks to all the committee and members who worked hard to make the evening so memorable.
